It is warm out there this morning. 49 in boston although last hour we were at 50 degrees. So dropped a degree there. 42 in worcester. 45 in plymouth and 44 on the vineyard. Obviously with a mild start like this, were going to warm up through the day today once again. Not as warm as yesterday but how about the 50s . Well take that. The winds are sustained at about 14 to 20 miles an hour now in worcester out of the west. And that is a warming wind so as we go through the afternoon today, 52 will be your high in boston. 54 in taunton. Well stay in the mid to upper 40s in worcester. And this morning is no exception take a look. Were at 50 degrees currently in is it february . Just making sure. Its 45 on the vineyard right now and 44 degrees on nantucket. So obviously its a mild start. One of the reasons why is these winds are pretty strong out of the west today. You can see theyre sustained at 14 miles an hour in boston. 18mileanhour winds in worcester. Those strong Winds Continuing to warm our temperatures up through the afternoon today so were really going to hold steady i think today maybe warming up into the upper 40s, low 50s for highs. A little period of rain coming on through. This storm is squeaking by us to the south. Its now moving away so were in the process of drying out with High Pressure building in from the north. It will draw down some of this colder air from canada. Wont be a repeat of what we had over the weekend. We are starting out in the 20s and 30s. Coldest spots here north and west of boston where were below freezing once you get back towards keene and orange. Closer to 40 now down toward the cape. Temperatures will dip down a little bit with clearing skies this morning. By 8 00 a. M. We should be just hovering near the freezing mark. Look at all the sunshine in the forecast today.
