In it, a middle-aged man named Joel is hired to escort Ellie, a 14-year-old girl who they both quickly learn is immune to the virus that’s turned their world into a zombie apocalypse. Per
Deadline, it sounds like the HBO TV adaptation will follow a similar story.
“Joel (Pascal), a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie (
