16h24 Dundo - Corruption, impunity, embezzlement and local power governments were the central themes of the speeches made by MPLA leaders in the East and North regions of the country as part of the party s 64th anniversary festivities.
The problem of local authorities was one of the most highlighted by the MPLA provincial secretaries in Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul, Moxico, Cabinda, Cuanza Norte, Bengo, Malanje, Uige and Zaire, during the political acts marking the event, which took place on 10 December.
In the various speeches, the party leaders also spoke to militants on the issue of the 2022 general elections, assuming that these issues will be at the top of the party s agenda in the coming years.
