CHICAGO – Jonathan Macedo is slight, slender, about 130 pounds, but he seems even smaller. He has bushy eyebrows and dark hair trimmed into a tidy plateau. He has a guileless smile and the unassuming cheer of the young and ridiculously promising. He is 18 years old but appears 16.
