An Onslow County woman is looking to spread awareness about a neuropsychiatric disorder both her children have been diagnosed with, one she said is often misdiagnosed by doctors.
Ann Bell Worley is a Houston-based writer and editor and a mother of two with a background in theological education and ministry. Her son, now 15, was born with an incredibly rare genetic variant (1 in 100,000) and later diagnosed with PANS, Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome.
