MakeUp in Paris returns at the Carrousel du Louvre on June 16 and 17, 2022 for its 12th edition with more than 150 exhibitors. On this occasion, the Parisian event will unveil a new visual identity to reaffirm its Skincare and Makeup positioning.
After a successful 2021 edition in October, MakeUp in Paris expects to welcome more than 150 exhibitors and 4000 visitors to resume business and innovation as usual. Once again, the event will gather suppliers of ingredients, formulation,.
Some highlights of the event include the debut of Indie360, Presentation Theater sessions, The Future Chemists Workshop and the inaugural People’s Choice Award.

Producing its first on-site events since 2019, American Events will again partner with
Première Vision Sport to afford an array of options for attendees who prefer a simple approach to sourcing and trends across categories. The collaborative effort, which expanded The Northwest Materials Show in Portland, Ore., launched in August 2019 and saw a 30 percent attendee increase over its February 2019 edition with a large focus on sustainable sourcing.
In addition to its sourcing and networking opportunities, The Materials Show and Première Vision Sport will host trend presentations by
Peclers Paris aimed at guiding design decision-making through the next five years. Additional industry panels will center on discussions regarding recovery in the wake of COVID-19.

Building on its momentum from a successful October show,
LA Textile was hosted Feb. 24–26 on
CMC Uploaded, the
California Market Center’s digital platform. This edition of LA Textile was a testament to the virtual production’s growth in only five short months. According to the CMC’s senior manager of events, Matthew Mathiasen, attendance figures for the show doubled from the October edition.
“Key points that we look at, show after show, all showed great improvement,” Mathiasen said. “Last October, which was our first virtual edition of Textile, we had between 700 and 800 attendees come through over the three days. This time we clocked in right around 1,400 over the three days.”
