Theresa Mae Denery Theresa Mae Denery, age 30 of Cherokee, IA , passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 15, 2021, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Denison, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021, at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cherokee. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee. The Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee is assisting the family with arrangements. Her childhood years were spent in Grand Blanc, MI where she attended school and graduated from high school in 2008. Following high school, she moved to Cherokee, IA where she worked various jobs while taking classed to become a CNA. She later attended WIT in 2017
