andrea mccarren, 9news now. okay, thank you. a woman is abducted from the street in mary field and tonight police are pleading for your help. it happened at route 50 at gallows road late monday night but police have been checking out the woman s story. bruce leshan is live where the woman was snatched. tell us about what you know. reporter: we know this is really, really a scary story lesli but also a very strange story. the woman says that she was right down there on route 50 walking along about 11:00 p.m. on monday night. a white van pulled up next to her obviously not this white van but a white van. and she says that someone actually reached out, a guy, reached out and grabbed her and dragged her into the van. there were three guys here in the van. she fought with them and she fought with them and eventually about four miles up the road 123, and route 50 in fairfax city, they pushed her out. but another thing that s really kind of strange about this story is despite
