MEDORA, N.D. The Theodore Roosevelt National Park's Facility Revitalization Plan and Environmental Assessment seeks public review and input before Sept. 14, as the park considers possible improvements at five of its developed areas.
As Theodore Roosevelt National Park mulls a new plan for managing the horse herd that could reduce the number of horses significantly or remove them entirely advocates urge them to maintain a genetically healthy population.
A range of options being studied for the park include new and improved visitor centers in both the north and south units as well as at the Painted Canyon overlook.
