PEA RIDGE City Council member Merrill White has announced his intention to resign from the council as of next Wednesday, one day after the March council meeting.
Beginning the year with a special City Council meeting and an executive session, Pea Ridge City Council members agreed to appoint Jeff Neil to the vacant City Council seat for Ward 2, Position 2.
The Pea Ridge City Council meets on the third Tuesday of each month and occasionally has specially called meetings and Committee of the Whole meetings as needed.
