Despite pleas from citizens, the Town of Jupiter is moving forward with plans to form its own fire department with startup planned in three years and ties with the county agency to be severed.
Forestry and Fire Services from Bradford, Baker, and Union counties helped to put out a house fire on County Road 229. A bulldog was saved from the home, while the homeowner had minor injuries.
