Andre Paras applies for PBA Rookie Draft A source told ESPN5.com that Paras is expected to submit some additional requirements to complete his application. Following his graduation from La Salle Greenhills in 2013, Paras, who is the eldest son of former PBA MVP Benjie Paras, played for the UP Fighting Maroons in UAAP Season 76. After his one-year stint with UP, he moved to the San Beda Red Lions in the NCAA. When he was not able to make the final roster, Paras transferred and played for the AMA Online Education squad from 2017-19. Paras last played in the 2019 PBA D-League Foundation Cup, where he averaged 7.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per contest. He also suited up for the Imus squad in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League.
