Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced during the city’s vaccination simulation the local government targets to inoculate 3,000 residents daily.
Aguilar said the 3,000 residents to be inoculated are equivalent to 300 vaccines to be distributed in each vaccination area in District 1 and 2 at the city’s 20 barangays.
The mayor was joined by Vice-Mayor April Aguilar-Nery, Department of Health (DOH) Regional Director Ma. Paz Corrales, and doctors from the City Health Office (CHO) during the vaccination simulation held at the Las Piñas Elementary School located along P. Diego Cera, Barangay Elias Aldana on February 8.
Aguilar said the city government is already prepared with vaccination rollout once the 300,000 AstraZeneca vaccines procured from the British drugmaker arrive in the city.
