build in america taking us from 2 percent to 20 percent of the world s share of that and we will probably be at 40 percent by 201. this is important bringing manufacturing back to america because it is a huge multiplier to create new jobs. so, in my opinion, this is a good bill. and i hope that my fellow democrats will support it. i thank the republican leaders for agreeing to include things that were important to the president. there is never a perfect bipartisan bill in the eyes of a partisan. and we all see this differently. but i really believe this will be a significant net plus for the country. i also think that in general a lot of people are even a sigh of relief that there is an agreement on something, but do not minimize the impact of the unemployment relief for working families of the payroll tax
30 high powered battery factories either open or being built in america, taking us to 22% of the world s share for that about probably at 40% by 2014. this is a really important thing, bringing manufacturing back to america. in my opinion, this is a good bill and i hope that my fellow democrats will support it. i thank the republican leaders for agreeing to include things that were important to the president. there s never a perfect bipartisan bill in the eyes of a partisan. and we all see it differently. but i really believe this will be a significant net plus for the country. i also think that in general, a lot of people are breathing a sigh of relief that there s an agreement on something, but don t minimize is impact of the unemployment relief for working families of the payroll tax
it is an excellent, martha, what they are doing is, they are saying, in some respects, well, the stimulus is felt, and with respect to the payroll tax relief, maybe it will stimulate the economy. and i think at the margins, indeed, it will be helpful. so, i m happy if it is, indeed a as it admission by the obama administration that tax relief, historically, it has been part of our economic growth solution, not part of the economic problem, and, if that is true, then, hopefully, a new day dawned for the new congress. we ll see. we d love to talk to you again about the debt commission, more, because i know some folks want to revive some of what you voted against, in that debt commission and i want to hear what you think about that. we ll see you soon, i hope. thank you, congressman hence sar ling. bill: what can a tiny aspirin do for you now, america? dr. manny will tell us, and, still no sign of a concrete consensus on slashing the giant
3600 jobs. last month the we re still back to blaming president bush. we re trending in numbers don t lie. neil: but congresswoman, he s gone. he left office. the new sheriff s in town. in february we lost 7 the statute of limitations on blame. the point is we re trending in the right direction. it s not good enough. neil: when you trend positive, when you trend positive, then it s all barack obama. as long as it s negative it s george bush. it s american people working with the recovery act and the jobs credit we passed yesterday in congress that will give a payroll tax relief, which your prior speaker was talking about, to those who hire new employees jo congresswoman we ve been spending money like me at a bake shop and i got to tell you,
the senate minority leader, mitch mcconnell, also turned on the speaker today. mcconnell released this statement. although he was spinning it pretty good. working americans have suffered enough from the president s failed economic policies and shouldn t face the uncertainty of a new year s day tax hike. nice take, senator. but late this afternoon speaker boehner buckled to all the pressure. he held a conference call with house republicans to announce he wanted to pass the senate bill by unanimous consent. tonight boehner, well, he ate some crow. senator reid and i have reached an agreement on payroll tax relief on behalf of the american people. key parts of this agreement are that on january 1st no american worker will see an increase in their taxes. that was the sound of john boehner caving. so what does this mean? where does the tea party go from here? i think in the next few months we re going to find out what political revenge is all about. and i would imagine that somewher
