IIPT receives enthusiastic response to Consortium of Collaborating Universities

STOWE, Vermont & LUSAKA, Zambia – The International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT) has received an enthusiastic response to its newly-formed IIPT Consortium of Collaborating Universities STOWE, Vermont & LUSAKA, Zambia – The International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT) has received an enthusiastic response to its newly-formed IIPT Consortium of Collaborating Universities (IIPT–CCU). More than twenty universities have responded from regions throughout the world including Africa, Asia, North America, Europe, Australia, the Caribbean, and South Pacific to become founding members of the consortium. The newly-formed IIPT Consortium of Collaborating Universities (IIPT–CCU) is housed at Livingstone International University of Tourism Excellence and Business Management (LIUTEBM) in Lusaka, Zambia.

Donovan O Connor And Dodig Adds Three New Attorneys

Attorney Breen will continue to focus her practice in the areas of family law and bankruptcy. NORTH ADAMS, Mass. Donovan O Connor & Dodig, LLP announced the addition of three new attorneys: Jennifer M. Breen; Kyle G. Christensen; and Mark Leonhard.     She earned a B.A. in Political Science and B.S. Psychology from Utica College in 2001 and her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston in 2004. After her admission to the Massachusetts Bar in 2004, Attorney Breen joined the Middlesex County District Attorney s Office in Cambridge.    In 2007, she decided to return to her hometown of North Adams opening Breen Law Office & Mediation, where she focused on family law and bankruptcy. Attorney Breen served as a City Councilor in North Adams from 2011- 2015 and continues to volunteer for various organizations and task forces, including the Berkshire County Domestic and Sexual Violence Task Force and the Pro Bono for the Child Program. 

Board Appoints Dr Joseph A Manickam to Second Four-Year Presidential Term

Board Appoints Dr. Joseph A. Manickam to Second Four-Year Presidential Term Posted on Hesston College’s Board of Directors voted unanimously to appoint Joseph Manickam to a second four-year term as president during the college’s fall board meetings, held virtually in late October 2020. Manickam was named as the ninth president of Hesston College in fall of 2016 and assumed office on July 1, 2017. Previous to his appointment, Manickam served as director of the Institute of Religion, Culture and Peace and faculty member for peace studies at Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Manickam and his family moved to Hesston from Thailand in 2017.
