President Andrzej Duda met on Friday in Warsaw with visiting US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin for talks on enhancing bilateral cooperation in security amid Russia's actions jeopardising peace in Central and Eastern Europe.
The head of Poland's National Security Bureau (BBN) has said there is currently no talk of Polish troops being deployed to Ukraine as the Ukrainian government has not requested it and it is also the position of the whole of Nato.
Polish presidential officials have said that Poland and the US believe that US-Russia talks should reflect the position of the entire North Atlantic Alliance.
