Microsoft has appointed Indian Institutes of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras) alumnus Pavan Davuluri as the head of Windows and Surface teams following their merger.
According to Windows Central, the decision comes after a brief separation, during which Windows briefly fell under Microsoft's new AI organisation.
Pavan Davuluri, an IIT Madras alumni, was appointed the new head of Microsoft Windows and Surface, making him the latest Indian to take on a leadership role at a Big Tech company much like Google's Sundar Pichai and Microsoft's Satya Nadella.
