Monadnock Ledger-Transcript Published: 5/24/2018 8:19:49 AM A former U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive of the Week arrested in Jaffrey in March will serve 24 months in federal prison, according to court documents.  James M. Porter, Jr., 47, was committed to the Federal Bureau of Prisons on May 2 following a revocation judgment by US District Court Judge Paul J. Barbadoro. Porter will also serve six months of supervised release after his incarceration and be required to pay an outstanding $31,466.02 restitution balance. Special conditions of his supervised release say Porter will be required to participate in an inpatient or outpatient substance abuse treatment program.  Porter’s federal warrant stemmed from a 2011 conviction where he was found guilty of interstate transportation of stolen goods. On Jan. 24, 2011, Porter was sentenced to 30 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $31,736.02 in restitution and was recommend
