Pauline Gregory-Lewis, educator, philanthropist, and author, concerned about how young people, particularly, teenage boys are being induced by peer pressure into carrying out violent acts against fellow students in schools, has placed a spotlight.
At least 27 needy students from seven schools in St Catherine have received financial support to assist them in their preparations for entering high school in September. The help came in the form of a $15,000 scholarship from the Poverty.

Care packages have been presented to 200 families in St Catherine by the Poverty Alleviation and Empowerment Foundation (PAEF) at a cost of $300,000. Executive Director of the foundation, Pauline Gregory Lewis, said they provided assistance to the families because of the challenges children were facing as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
