North Quabbin Garden Club plant sale set for Saturday, May 22

ATHOL The North Quabbin Garden Club is having a plant sale on Saturday, May 22, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Millers River Environmental Center in Athol.
Even during a pandemic, plants grow and make gardens beautiful, Co-President Pauline Alldred said. “Plants offered for sale have usually been grown by garden club members so we know they thrive locally. Native plants are offered. Come and join us for this outside event. We will be happy to see you.”
An affiliate of the Millers River Environmental Center in Athol, the North Quabbin Garden Club formed in 2006 to encourage interest in all phases of home gardening. The club suspended indoor meetings from September last year to May of this year but members had access to Zoom presentations of the Athol Bird and Nature Club. The club board members hope to be able to restart meetings in the near future. Meet
