Dean College in Franklin announced Wednesday that Kenneth Elmore will serve as its 14th president and former Worcester City Manager Edward Augustus will be the school’s first-ever chancellor. Elmore is the college's first Black president.
Dean of Students and associate provost Kenneth Elmore (Wheelock’87) is leaving Boston University to become the president of Dean College, in Franklin, Mass., starting July 1. He will replace Paula Rooney, who is leaving Dean after 27 years as president.
