The chp is investigating a deadly crash on crow canyon road. The chp says the vehicle hit a pg e pole just before 1 30 this morning. The driver died at the scene. Highway 101 is back open this morning after a bus filled with dozens of partygoers overturned near cesar chavez street. The private charter bus overturned just after 8 00 last night in the southbound lanes. What happened overnight was they were trying to install a new sign using a crane and the sign ended up weighing 15,000 pounds more than they expected to. So, reports are that the sign fell from the crane and then had to be cleaned up. Thats why 95 was closed overnight in both directions here just south of 413. As we come out here you can see the southbound backlog that remains with that one lane being blocked by 413. Were parked in the ongoing Construction Zone.
