The Leader reported in December how the town s Mecca Bingo launched the Everyone Deserves a Christmas campaign to help vulnerable families and people living alone. Operations manager Paula Bryan said she was delighted at the response, which saw a total of 57 hampers made. The club worked with Reverend Dave Rowlands of Rock Chapel to distribute the hampers.
