(NEWS RELEASE) - Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Carmelia “Lia” Amuna, Ph.D. to the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors for a term set to expire on February 1, 2027. Additionally, the Governor reappointed Loretta Bradley, Ph.D. and Brenda Compagnone for terms set to expire February 1, 2027 and February 1, 2025, respectively. The board has licensing, examination, and rulemaking responsibilities in the field of professional counseling.
