Highland Mills woman charged with assault in stabbing
WOODBURY - Town of Woodbury police said a Highland Mills woman was accused of stabbing another woman on Thursday.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a dispute at a home on Route 32 in the hamlet of Highland Mills. When they arrived, they were met by the suspect, Taylor M. Robinson, 25, of Highland Mills, who said she stabbed the other woman in self-defense.
Robinson was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies.
She was arraigned before City of Newburgh Court Judge Paul Trachte and released without bail, pending a future court appearance.
