A teenager who shot and killed two fellow students near their high school campus in West Valley City earlier this year is expected to remain in juvenile detention for several years.
The teen who shot and killed two Hunter High students and injured a third nearly a year ago was sentenced Monday to serve in juvenile detention until he s 21.
A judge ordered a 15-year-old to stand trial for two counts of murder, following a shooting near Hunter High School in January that left two dead. The teenager will have a justification hearing in October to argue that he acted in self-defense.
