Lawsuit brings shame
Ken Paxton has done something I didn’t think possible: He made me ashamed to be a Texan. Prior to 2020, I voted for George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Rick Perry, Morgan Meyer and John Cornyn, and many other Republicans. But Paxton, joined by more than 100 Republican members of Congress in a direct assault on American democracy, has created a new Republican Party, a party of traitors.
