More than 1,500 Minnesotans ventured through the below-zero temperatures Monday to get their COVID-19 vaccination at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
The DECC is one of the three permanent community vaccine sites opened by the state. Minnesota residents age 65 and older who registered for the pilot program are being selected randomly to make appointments. People from all over the state were able to make appointments in Duluth.
