they re going to approve this particular bivaliant booster. as you and i have talked about before, they sort of re-emphasized that there should not be any new safety concerns, that it s just the only part and this was the very specific question that was asked, the only part of the manufacturing process that was changed was the little snippet of messenger rna that was introduced in order to generate the appropriate antibodies to the right spike protein, in this case, ba.4 and ba.5 and making the analogy to how we change and take the flu shot every year. something that dr. paul said, and he may be familiar to folks who watch the show. let me play it. what i fear is that they re going to say everybody should get it when a healthy young person may benefit from a booster dose and they target it more specifically to those who are more likely to benefit. do you agree, dr. azar, or is
paul, what is your way? and before you, in lust me just put this to you, 94% of democratic primary voters under 30 want someone else to run in 2024 that is what the future of the party wants. the question is, will they get? it 94% under 30 under 30, did they show up? yeah. he s kind of like the guy in the old country song, if it weren t for bad, luck i d have no luck at all. russian invades ukraine, inflation spikes. supreme courts of throws out 50% there s new coronavirus variant. monkeypox. so, the guy has had a pretty rotten string of luck. problem with young people is especially acute. you re right to signal it. in the election, biden strongly age cohort was 18 to 30-year-olds. the youngest voters were his strongest, 60%. i just saw a recent poll, that
was 25. that was in part because some of the other leaders of his party are undermining. him undermining him with other voters. they re attacking him instead of attacking republicans. it is an enormous problem. he has this huge, broad coalition. some of these people, they re on the same boat. some of them are punching holes in the. they re complaining that biden is getting them wet. paul, here s a thing. like i said, i pointed out the under 30 voters. the people show up to the polls are, you know, my mom s age. frankly, my age. i call them the church ladies. the more moderate part of the democrat party, people who don t want free tuition for everyone. or extremists but extremely left. those are the people that show up to the polls. so, might these numbers, i don t know. i don t know this is a poll. it s a snapshot in time. might these numbers be skewed? yeah.
i ll tell you what s most important number there, at least a fire in the white house i d be looking at. it s that despite all of that, he is still beating trump. you have. in the same polls that show him lagging 33% approval, all these democrats, he still beating donald trump. we can is exactly right. it pains me to say it. i love that rascal. margin of error, you can shake your head up and down. who are the people that show up to the polls, like my mom. they say, i don t care. i voted for him. absolutely. they don t want the other thing. well, as paul just said, don, the democratic party in joe biden, the incumbent president, as paul said, had a terrible string of bad luck and an arrogance, bad play does anyone has ever gotten when they take the big share. it s hard to imagine anything
i love mitch. i don t get in the business of naming names. 20, the strategy is that by its most. i asked urgently needs, paul. now. now, sir. this undermines biden. i just claimed that democrats are undermining their president. i m saying in a. future let s just say, not 2024. just beyond. listen, i love mitch. i love him. i know him. he is the clinton level of talent. you can t bypass. you can t ignore the vice president. i can think vice president who sought their nomination didn t get it. biden is going to run. republicans are going to nominate. trump biden is going to win. okay, mark? last word. name names. are you gonna need some news? [inaudible] start over. i stepped on the. sitting in. i don t think biden is going to run. i don t think trump will get the nomination. we ll have a brand-new field. while.
