Paul Pechous, outgoing president of the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska and student regent, carries the gonfalon into Memorial Stadium at the start of the undergraduate commencement ceremony May 18. Pechous has carried the banner for multiple commencements and wanted to do so one last time.
