UEW signed the first MoU with EPUC, before signing the other with the Transforming Teacher Education and Learning (T-TEL), during separate ceremonies at the Council Chamber at Winneba.

The 2020 batch of the Distance Education students of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), have called on management of the university to fast-track the required processes to pave the way for their graduation.
According to them, since completing school in July 2020, there were no correspondence and indications to them as to when they would graduate to enable them to get their respective certificates.
They said: “Although our colleague regular students who completed same year have graduated and subsequently received their certificates, all distance students from all the study centres were yet to graduate to receive their certificates as well.”

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni, has iterated management of the university’s belief in the relationship of mutual respect and co-participation of its affiliate institutions.
He said that the duality that undergirds the engagements, activities and actions with affiliate institutions rather than a master-servant relationship, has ensured co-construction and learning from each other’s experiences to grow and create value to their respective mandates.
The Vice-Chancellor was speaking at a special ceremony held at the university’s Council Chamber, to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ten of the University’s affiliate institutions.
