An annual Christmas tradition for both families and dancers, the curtain will not rise on Alberta Ballet’s The Nutcracker this year.
The province’s social distancing rules has shuttered all theatre events, with this particular ballet being one of the most notable for its absence after 29 years. This past Wednesday would have been opening night in Calgary.
