A north Belfast councillor has condemned a local bonfire that was adorned with a profane message attacking the Irish News.
The pyre at Shore Crescent was pictured yesterday, hours ahead of being torched, with four placards scrawled with the words F the Irish News .
Built close to a children s play area on the Shore Road, the pallet-laden structure was due to be lit last night ahead of today s Twelfth of July celebrations.
