Nearly a dozen in Howard County charged in child porn sting
Nearly a dozen men in Howard County have been charged in connection with a major child pornography ring.
HOWARD COUNTY, Md. - Eleven suspects in Howard County have been arrested in connection with an investigation into a child pornography ring.
Eight adults are behind bars, and three minors are charged for allegedly possessing and distributing inappropriate photos and videos.
The investigation began last summer with tips from the Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Commercial break-in under investigation
The Upper Ottawa Valley detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) seeking assistance from the public as it continues to investigate a commercial break and enter from late 2020.

The break, enter and theft, which was reported Nov. 30, 2020, took place at a business on Paul Martin Drive in Pembroke. The suspect or suspects entered a storage trailer between Nov. 28 and 30, and stole a Stihl brush cutter and a Stihl hedge trimmer.

An 18-year-old driver has been identified and charged with several Highway Traffic Act offences following an early morning collision in Pembroke last week.
The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began investigating a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that took place at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 13 after a vehicle left the roadway while turning from Paul Martin Drive onto Townline Road. The vehicle struck a road sign and construction fencing before leaving the scene.
