A joint investigation has led to the arrests of 27 people in two separate police sweeps that include the apprehension of motorcycle gang members in multiple locations across Ontario as part of a 13-month joint-forces investigation known as Project Coyote.
The results of an organized crime investigation, dubbed Project Coyote, were unveiled by Toronto police, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Belleville police Thursday afternoon.
The 13-month investigation into drug and gun smuggling, dubbed Project Coyote, involved Ontaro Provincial Police as well as officers in Belleville, Toronto and Windsor.
