Around 155 people on 32 teams lined up in front of St. Paulâs in preparation for the cannon fire signifying the start of the race.
NEW ULM Vehicles with yellow flags could be seen driving throughout New Ulm Saturday. These vehicles were part of the St. Paul Lutheran Elementary School’s annual Amazing Race contest.
For the last five years, St. Paul’s has been hosting an Amazing Race event every year. Different teams meet at the school before racing out to be the first to solve of series of clues scattered around New Ulm. This year saw the highest team turnout, with 32 teams participating in the contest.
Area 6-year-olds to receive free gift book from The Ambassador Company

Through the sponsorship of local community leaders, area 6-year-olds are receiving a bound gift book about positive character-building traits entitled My Favorite Book.
The volume is illustrated and is organized in such a way to teach positive citizenship values to the children, said a news release from The Ambassador Company. The core traits covered in
