The local tourism industry is preparing for a bumper season - and accommodation providers are saying bookings are coming in thick and fast as visitors opt for UK holidays amid uncertainty over foreign travel. Paul Loud, owner of the Haddon House Hotel in West Bay and Chesil Beach Lodge in Burton Bradstock, says he s been taking as many as ten bookings a day. He said: “It’s going to be a very busy season I think. We’re all very much looking forward to it, we need to get back to normal.
