I wish to congratulate all political leaders who have been sworn in to represent and lead their electorates.
As they enter into this new term, they should respect the views of their subjects and Uganda at large. However, I am so astonished by the dishonesty of some of the elected members of the National Unity Platform (NUP) who vowed never to work in Museveni’s government but when the swearing in took place, they kept time in the tents of parliament.
They have been referring to this government as an illegitimate government calling their party principal and former presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine as their president.

Developing Uganda has been a shared effort, guided by our leaders under the able leadership of President Museveni since 1986.
It is only under the NRM government since 1986 that Ugandans are one as a country, irrespective of tribe, social or economic class. This has been deliberate, where Ugandans from all walks of life, regardless of religion, education, tribe or language came in harmony and supported the liberation struggle.
For the first time in history, we have no inter-tribal hostilities like we used to have and all the 56 tribes in Uganda are more focused than ever in living together in harmony. What a transformation!
