Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The collaboration between Juneau nonprofits was formed to advocate and educate on the need for funding and policies that develop and maintain housing for those living at or below 30% area median income (AMI).
The point-in-time count measures both sheltered and unsheltered homelessness. It can also be a chance for people to access services for the first time. The count helps homeless service providers take stock of community needs and apply for funding.
