With Covid rules changing on an almost daily basis, the move was certainly a gamble, but it paid off, with the rescheduled 210-lot auction grossing £23.5 million, every piece selling and records being set for watches by FP Journe and Patek Philippe in what proved to be last year s first live watch auction with in-room bidding.
