holiday celebrations too far if you drink and drive we will catch you. good morning, happy thanksgiving i m terry mcsweeney in for eric thomas. and i m kristen sze, nice of you to be with us today. we are watching the rain mike has been talking about. in morning driving in we saw it is it going to stick around? it is going to stick around for a couple of hours probably probably noon we are clear of the steady rain as the cold front will be pushing through stray possible shower this afternoon for 99% of us dry. two stretches of wet weather through the east bay valleys into the south bay cold friend moving through the north bay across marin county and the rain moving into san francisco. over the last three hours the heaviest band has been across the north bay moving towards sacramento that means if you are heading south you are going to run into tie air, heading east, rain all the way all the way to the sierra where it turns night snow 6500 feet. who needs black f
thomas, happy thanksgiving to you, first of all. but the weather, absolutely something we are thankful for today. this is not a mistake, this is the national radar. there s nothing on it for the most part. my apologies just to a couple of locations. here across central california, northern california, off to the south and east as the day goes on. and then a new storm that will come into the pacific northwest. you can see it going here toward the puget sound. that will roll in this morning, bring in strong winds, heavy rain, the washington coastline down toward the oregon coastline. that s the area we ll watch today. really the one spot on the map. everywhere east of there, we work in the sunshine. low clouds sticking around early on this morning. the afternoon looks brighter. and look at the mild air. 67 denver, 59 in minneapolis. are you kidding me? you don t see that on thanksgiving day. it s going to be beautiful. then tomorrow morning, i m sure a lot of folks have plans
