A court heard the phone call was recorded and Mr Hashim called the police, who took details and visited Hamilton at her home in Johnstone, Scotland, where she was cautioned and charged.
But Hamilton, who works in the food industry herself, was spared jail yesterday at Paisley Sheriff Court, and instead fined £750 and told to “apologise to the man in person”.
Sentencing the mum-of-two, Sheriff Suhkwinder Gill said: “I am amazed that people like you still use the ‘P’ word.
“And I can’t believe a woman with no previous conviction, with young children, can come out with such a word.
