And pricing out our community programs, this is something we want to do that suggest going in a different direction and even along Market Street we have to support our local programs that have been there just like on third street to create thing and establish themselves and not get priced out. We need to do more of this in our neighborhood and identify the arts programs that are our sensitive and economic edge. This is why we promoted programs like cast to try to find ways to control the land values and land use and to use the citys economic success to get that land control. The ocii or whatever agencies that we have so that we can control land cost and invite the artist and Artistic Community to join us cloelg these land cost. We dont do that. Withstand both good and back economic times. This is the story that i think as mayor i want to be not only head of, but be known for. So, again, i thank our Arts Commission, i thank all the partnerships that were helping to develop this area. I think all of the partners that are coming together to refresh and redesign and help with this sensitive building but one that we value and it will be at the heart of all the different businesses that were attracting along the street corridor. This is a strong neighborhood. We are reinvesting in it. People feel that its changing. It not all about midmarket. Its about third street, about every major corridor in our city getting the right attention through the programs that we are creating. I want to thank all the city departments working with us. Think its critical when you think about the overall narrative within the bayview community. Today it influences the experience of walking, shopping and eating along our beautiful third street corridor and impacts our youth and families by providing access to the arts right here in the neighborhood. I see we have the executive director Kimberly Hayes from the African American complex and excited to look to the if you the to forge a relationship with the African American arts and culture complex and developing this relationship for arts, education outreach and more importantly a relationship that will teach the culture of particularly the African American community. By supporting this renovation today, we recognize that not only that the building and the property, but also the significant role that this building has had and plays in establishing in a healthy individual in this neighborhood. Mine is in a Community Affairs at wells fargo for the midatlantic region. And so want to be here representing wells fargo is both an avid reader myself. I really dont remember a time in my life when i wasnt an avid reader. I just loved reading.
