PORTLAND, Texas â A special farewell parade was held at all Gregory Portland Independent School District campuses on Thursday.
The KRIS 6 News crew caught up with retiring Superintendent Dr. Paul Clore while he was at the East Cliff campus.
The festivities were all part of the day known as Hats Off To Dr. Clore Day.
He announced his plans to retire last April.
The parade gave him a chance to visit each campus and say goodbye to students and staff.
