A deadly explosion in istanbul, turkey, at the citys historic square, a popular area with tourists. It happened around 10 15 local time, thats a little more than two hours ago. The governor of istanbul confirmed ten people were killed. Another 15 wounded. We are still awaiting video from the explosion site. But as you can see here, emergency vehicles are rushing to the scene. No word yet on what caused the blast, but turkey did suffer two major bombing attacks last year.
