18-year-old charged with sexually assaulting boy in Brooklyn Park porta potty

An 18-year-old Brooklyn Park man faces up to 25 years in prison on charges he sexually abused a young boy in a park porta potty.
Jonah Paul Canny was charged Tuesday with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under the age of 13. The felony carries a maximum sentence of up to 25 years in prison, and/or a fine of $10,500-$35,000, if convicted.
The victim, 6 years old, was seen by a family member coming out of a porta potty at WIllowstone Park on May 26, police have said, with an adult male exiting behind him. That night, the boy said someone took off his clothes and then touched him in private areas.
