HARVEST FOR HUNGER CAMPAIGN: Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley has kicked off its 30th annual Harvest for Hunger campaign, which is a food and funds drive that takes place during February, March and April to help stock the food bank shelves for the spring and summer months. Anyone interested in participating in the campaign by conducting a food and / or funds drive to benefit the food bank should call Julia at 330-792-5522, ext. 102, or visit www.mahoning valleysecondharvest.org to download a registration form. Financial contributions also may be made to supermarket sponsor Giant Eagle and participating Sparkle Markets by donating $1, $5, or $10 at the register through April 3. All funds raised and food collected remains in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties to help feed local residents.
