Brightline and the City of Melbourne are working to get results by installing safety poles at a railway intersection that saw two fatal crashes earlier this month.
The City of Melbourne and Brightline are looking for ways to improve safety after two fatal crashes last week at a railroad crossing at WH Jackson street near US-1.
At least 108 people have died on Brightline tracks since it began operations in July 2017, or roughly one death for every 38,000 miles traveled, the worst rate in the nation.
