Despite some upbeat comments on town improvements from seasonal homeowners , tempers flared over an accessory dwelling unit bylaw proposal that would limited to permanent residents.
During a meeting with the Stockbridge Select Board on July 27, attending second-home owners praised the town for certain strengths, including improvements and upgrades to the town beach, but admonished the accessory dwelling unit proposal as "demoniz the second-home owners."
The Select Board will devote this Thursday’s meeting to the concerns of second-home owners, but it will not create a separate advisory committee for seasonal residents.
