Read for this office from the county to all the southern counties actually and heard from people time and time again of the lament the country was undivided and there was so much partisan gridlock and about the lines that seemed to be not only dividing the country but weakening it and i really wanted to speak to that because so much of my personal experience growing up with an africanamerican family and living in an allwhite town i had been crisscrossing the lines a lot working with innercity is going to stanford and yale and it showed me how united we as a country are and some of the best leaders i had coming from the communities taught me the urgency of breaking down the divide hoping people understand that the tides are stronger than the lines that divide us. Host this is an interesting book because its not your chronological memoir kind of thing. Its almost cinematic in terms of zeroing in on interesting people and interesting moments in your life.
